Mary Lachnit
Controller
Mary is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting at Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation.
A licensed Certified Public Accountant, Mary has over 20 years of progressive experience in the accounting and finance fields. She began her career in public accounting at one of the largest international accounting and profession services firms, Coopers & Lybrand. For several years Mary held management positions in public, hi-tech software companies including Remedy Corporation and Interwoven, Inc. Finding more personal fulfillment working for charitable causes, Mary made the switch from private to not-for-profit accounting in 2013. Prior to joining Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation in 2016, Mary served as Controller for Myelin Repair Foundation, a collaborative medical research not-for-profit entity dedicated to accelerating the identification and development of new drug therapies for multiple sclerosis.
