Portfolio and Investment Strategist

Tim joins Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation as a fellow from Harvard Business School’s Leadership Fellows Program. He works with the DRK team to identify and support innovative social entrepreneurs as well as assisting elements of the deal pipeline, portfolio support, and organizational operations.

Prior to joining DRK, Tim worked in nonprofit consulting at the Bridgespan Group advising nonprofits, philanthropic funders, and impact investors. There he primarily engaged in impact due diligence and strategic projects for clients across a large variety of issue areas globally, including economic development, climate change, workforce development, healthcare, etc. He also worked at LEK Consulting specializing in the Consumer practice and Advanced Analytics function. He also did an externship through an emerging markets VC fund, Alter Global, in Bangladesh for Pathao, the leading tech-based transportation startup. Most recently, he worked as a Portfolio Strategy Associate in the Office of the Chief Executive at the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) and he has done recent work with Endeavor Catalyst. He is also currently an independent board member for Second Day, a non-profit building the talent pipeline for mission-driven organizations.

Tim received a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School where he helped launch the inaugural HBS Impact Investing Fund which invested $100K+ into Black/Brown entrepreneurs in Boston. He has a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) from the University of Pennsylvania.
