Rise
Over the past 18 months, our portfolio has shown us what it looks like to lean in and dedicate oneself to finding solutions to the injustices, inequities and lack of resources & opportunity for those most vulnerable in the world. This is what it means to rise to the challenge of our times—the theme of DRK’s 2019-20 Annual Report.
The Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation was founded on a belief in the power of innovation and the conviction that with bold support, passionate individuals with great ideas can change the world.

Respond
In April, we launched a time-limited, special initiative to respond to the growing non-coronavirus needs created by the COVID-19 pandemic. We explored over 1,000 initiatives and funded eight projects, both inside our portfolio and externally. Meet the organizations we funded.
