Kim Koontz is a member of the portfolio support team, focusing as a strategic partner on board development, organizational development, and leadership development. She co-leads DRK’s Board Sourcing Initiative, recruiting and managing relationships with senior leaders and sector experts, and the Executive Coaching Match Program, helping match DRK entrepreneurs and their staff with vetted executive coaches. She also leads and manages customized projects for portfolio organizations, and co-develops new tools, templates, and guides based on common pain points that impact current and alumni organizations.

Prior to joining DRK in 2016, Kim worked at Housing Partnership Network as the Administrative Coordinator, where she managed the office’s daily administrative and operations needs, as well as Bank of America Investment Advisors as an Investment Company Administrator, overseeing daily operations and shareholder services for two closed-end mutual funds.

Kim has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a Political Science concentration from Syracuse University and received her Masters of Science in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University.
