What started as lunches for 25 students prepared in a simple kitchen has grown into Food4Education, now a vital part of Kenya’s school feeding infrastructure. Today, the organization delivers roughly 500,000 nutritious meals each day — and Wawira’s vision stretches far beyond that. She is working toward a bold goal: reaching millions of children across Africa with affordable, high-quality school meals by 2030, an ambition supported through TED’s Audacious Project.
