NYT Op-ed Describes Upstream’s Innovative Contraceptive Access Initiative

The Governor of Delaware, Jack Markell, published an op-ed in The New York Times entitled, “What States Can Do On Birth Control”. In his article he describes Upstream‘s innovative contraceptive access initiative with the state of Delaware aimed to help women achieve their own reproductive goals. The initiative Delaware CAN (Contraceptive Access Now) is a pioneering public/private partnership with the goal of ensuring that all women of reproductive age, regardless of insurance status or where they receive their healthcare, will have same day access to the full range of contraceptive methods, including IUD’s have been proven to be the most effective form of birth control, at low or no-cost.
