Nairobi Launch

In 2021 DRK opened an office in Nairobi, Kenya, a powerful hub for social innovation in Africa. The local team will lead sourcing, diligence, and support efforts for our African portfolio in partnership with our Europe and US-based teams. To celebrate the launch, DRK convened our entrepreneurs and partners for an official office opening in December 2021. This milestone symbolizes a bold and meaningful commitment from DRK to support proximate leadership and impact in Africa. More importantly, our Africa-based entrepreneurs shared that they valued the opportunity to connect with and learn from each other and ecosystem players in person, in the context in which they work. We feel very grateful to be doing this work and look forward to growing our pipeline, portfolio, and support of social entrepreneurs across Africa – together.
