Jyotika works with the DRK team to identify and support innovative social entrepreneurs.
Previously, Jyotika spent over a year working as an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan’s Power & Renewables coverage group. Jyotika conducted in-depth financial analyses of Fortune 500 companies and helped navigate their transition to a greener generation fleet. As an analyst, she worked on the sale of a minority stake in a Californian contracted gas and energy storage platform for AES Energy, a global energy provider, deeply analyzing the renewable energy trends and positioning of the asset.
Jyotika graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce with a major in Finance and Global Commerce. While at UVA, she led and organized UVA’s largest volunteer event and served as the Service Coordinator for UVA’s chapter of the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity. She was selected as one of three UVA students for the Poets & Quants Best & Brightest Class of 2019. Jyotika continues to stay involved with UVA’s alumni board, volunteering her time towards creating an international student mentorship program through the McIntire Young Alumni Council. In her free time, she also co-leads the Mentorship program for the North American Association of Indian Students.
